''For he said feed the hungry! Help those in trouble. If you extend your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light shall dawn in darkness, and your darkness shall be like the noonday'' (Isaiah 58:10).
We would like to extend our greatest thanks and appreciation to all those who have contributed towards sending the consignment and items we required to give a great Christmas to one of our charity branches in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
The Lord will reward you for all the love and care you have shown these vulnerable people. Our special thanks also to Peggy Stevens; you are an inspiration for your relentless efforts to support our charity.

Dorcas Charity Organisation Project
To donate contact us or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Dorcas Charity is a registered charity that works with a traumatised group of survivors of the ten-year civil war in Sierra Leone; this group consists of women, children and the elderly who have had their limbs amputated or displaced. We can assist in making arrangements if you would like to fund a mission to go and visit this group in Sierra Leone and support them.
We also assist in taking children off the streets and placing them with foster families and providing them with clothing, food, medicine, education, etc. We would like to extend our greatest thanks and appreciation to all those who have contributed towards sending the consignment and items required to give a great Christmas to one of the charity branches in Freetown, Sierra Leone. The Lord will reward you for all the love and care you have shown these vulnerable people. Our special thanks also to Peggy Stevens; you are an inspiration for your relentless efforts to support our charity.
Dorcas Charity Aims & Objectives
- To meet the immediate care needs of women and children traumatized by the ten-year civil war in Sierra Leone, and in particular children of school age who roam the streets of big towns and cities throughout the country;
- To ensure that formerly separated children, including street children, are provided with either schooling or skills training or both;
- To identify the special needs of women and children who have become victims of sexual violence and drug addiction while in the bush, and to provide psychological support and reintegration into their communities;
- To establish skills centres where women and children will be trained and guided to participate in the socio-economic development of the nation; and
- To work with other charity organisations at both local and international level in training forums and planning workshops to improve the capacity of protection work for women and children.
Dorcas was a disciple, also known as Tabitha, a woman full of good work and almsgiving. When she died, her good works and charity work brought her back to life. Brethren, why not make a change today and be another Dorcas? The Lord will richly bless you if you can find it in your heart to donate financially to the Dorcas Charity.
Read Acts Chapter 9, Verses 36-42: Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Doras: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did. And it came to pass inthose days, that she was sick, and died: whom when they had washed , they laid her in an upper chamber. V40: But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to thte body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.
